Garlic asparagus
Asparagus is delicious, stir fried or steams. It tastes really good with garlic and also healthy.
Ingredients;
- 1 lb fresh asparagus, cut into 2 inch strips
- 2 tbsp freshly minced garlic
- 1 tsp freshly grounded black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup organic chicken broth
Preparations:
- Trim the asparagus and cut into the strips.
- Heat the non-stick pan on the medium-high for 1 minutes. Add garlic and turn the heat down to low-medium. Saute until garlic turns a little brownish.
- Turn heat back to medium-high, add asparagus and stir for 2 mins. Add chicken broth and cook for 2 more mins with lid on.
- Turn off the heat , sprinkle the black pepper and serve warm.
