Ingredients:

  1. 2 cup bulgur
  2. 2 tablespoon olive oil
  3. 1/2 cup purple onion finely chopped
  4. 3 tablespoon hot pepper paste
  5. 3 tablespoon tomato paste
  6. 3 tablespoon Italian parsley, finely chopped
  7. 3 tablespoon cilantro finely chopped
  8. 4 cup water

 Directions:

  1. Set the stove medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onion till translucent, soft and lightly brown.
  2. Stir bulgur into the pot and add water, mix well and set the stove at the medium heat. Simmer for 30mins. Stir occasionally to prevent bulgur stick to the pot or burn.
  3. Add hot pepper paste and tomato paste, simmer for another 10mins at low-medium heat.
  4. Add cilantro and parsley, stir well before serving.
