 Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon(s) extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cup(s) whole almonds , blanched
  • 2 tablespoon(s) fresh thyme leaves
  • Coarse salt
  • Freshly ground pepper

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add almonds, and cook, stirring occasionally, until lightly golden and fragrant, 10 to 12 minutes.
  3. Stir in thyme leaves.
  4. Remove from heat. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread out on a rimmed baking sheet, and let cool completely.

Almonds can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature up to 2 weeks.
