Grilled Ahi Tuna Steak
Tuna has very lean meat and also very tasty. However, grilled tuna often turns out very rough to eat. Here I develop this recipe for soft, tender and delicious tuna steak.
Ingredients:
- 2 ( 4-oz) wild caught Ahi Tuna steak
- 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar/lemon juice/Chinese vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tbsp ginger and garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp corn starch
- 1/2 tsp tarragon
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp crunched hot red pepper
Directions:
- Thaw tuna steak at refrigerator overnight.
- Mix all the ingredient except tuna thoroughtly.
- Coat tune with the spicy mixture and set in the refrigerator. Every 30mins, turn over and coated the other side. The total marinate time is about 1 hour. It is also up to 3 hours.
- Set the medium to high heat, then add the tuna and cook. Each side for 5 minutes, until fork can flake the tuna meat.
- Serve when it is warm.
