I love Black Angus molasses bread. Bread over there is the reason I went back again and again. This is the closest one to Black Angus Bread I have ever made. I love it very much.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup oatmeal powder
  • 4 1/2 cup multigrain flour
  • 1 tsp seal salt
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 5 tbsp molasses
  • 2 tsp active yeast
  • 2 cup warm water

Preparations:

Dissolve the yeast into 1 cup warm water, butter, molasses and salt into another cup warm water. Add the water into mixed flour, mix well, knead into a ball shape dough. Let it sit and rise to double size.

Knead the dough again for 5minutes, meanwhile add some more flour to avoid the dough stick to the surface. Shape the dough and put it into bread loaf baking pan. Let it rise again up to the edge of baking pan.

Set the oven temperature at 400F, baking for 15 minutes and reduce the temperature to 350F for another 20mins. Meanwhile prepare the molasses glaze by combining 1 tbsp old fashion oats, 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp molasses. Glaze the bread with this combination and baking for another 15 minutes.
