This is an alternative Turkish omelette version. A friend of mine from Turkey sent me this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Anaheim green pepper ( chopped)
  • 5 garlic cloves ( finely minced)
  • 3 medium tomatoes ( chopped)
  • 4 medium organic egg ( scrambled)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

Preparations:

Prepare green pepper, garlic, tomato and egg accordingly ( see ingredients from the above).

Turn the stove and set heat at medium. Add olive oil followed by green pepper. Stir green pepper to avoid burn, cook for about 5 minutes. Then add garlic into green pepper, cook until garlic become lightly brownish. Add and mix tomatoes, until it starts boiling for 1 minute. Gradually add scrambled egg on the top of the mixture. Turn the heat to high, let it sit for 30 seconds. Then mix egg and tomatoes. Constantly stir until it is done. A pinch salt , oregano and black for flavor.
